It's a lovely layout and for a change I decided to do something a little bit different as a Christmas Card for my significant other's sister this year.

The Discovery of Digi Stamps

Hi Blogees,

You know, it never ceases to amaze me how far and fast technology has taken over our lives and the inevitable evolution of card making techniques and materials is no exception.

I got it stuck in my head that I might have to give this a go, so I drew up a couple of rough sketches, handed them over to a graphic artist on Fiverr.com and they turned them into (I believe) amazing looking digis that I have used for my Xmas cards.

Man, if I could master the art of graphic design, I reckon I would be loaded by now!

A Gentler Christmas

Hello all,
 
I am pleased to say that immediately after receiving the wonderful digi stamps From Whoopsi Daisy in the Blog Hop Comp at Feeling Sketchy (thank you http://granmargaret.blogspot.com.au) , thoughts of my Aunty came into my head and I flew into a really easy card for her for Xmas.  I used layout #487 and came up with this.....

My camera is only 3mpxl so the photo doesn't really do it justice. The patterned paper is more pastel aqua and the present is a darker colour which actually pops out, but you make do with what you got yes?
