Blind Creation

G'Day from the Dingo

You may be wondering about the title of my post today.

I'm entering a card I created today into 3 challenges and it is going to be interesting to see what reaction I get, you see, I have attempted to make this without my glasses!

Here is the result

It's based on a sketch by Jaqueline from The Male Room

and the theme is taken from Cas-ual Fridays "Music and spring colours" (I chose the lyrics from the Beach Boys "Good Vibrations" for the background and some spring beachy matching papers)

I'm not sure where I got the road trip embellishment and the twine bow should qualify me for the "Anything goes with a bow" challenge at Cards In Envy.

I trust you can "see" where my inspiration came from!

Have a lovely day

Super Sunday

Greetings to all you superheroes out there.

I'm in the mood for some hero worship and today I am worshipping my 3 beautiful nieces for their 13th birthday this week.

3 cards, 3 challenges and 3 nieces!

I would like to enter these into the "Use an action image" at Top Tip Tuesday

Case This Sketch #113

and Shopping Our Stash "Not so heavy metal" challenge (I used brads and charms)

Why not be a superhero to your loved ones today and spoil them rotten!

Hello to you...

I don't know if anyone has not seen the merekat ads, but if my card for today is to be described as anything, it must be "Simples"

Shopping Our Stash has been running an "Out of the Jar" challenge and I'm putting this one in for a bit of fun.

It's just a plain white base card, black mat then white card with white ribbon adhered in strips on the diagonal (with one strip of red ribbon to pop the jar image) matted on top of the black.

A little traditional gingham ribbon around the neck of the jar, a couple of sticky red blings and presto!

Might do a mummy one next time and use bandages instead of ribbon.
