Kaisercraft Fathers' Day Challenge

Hi,

Here is my father's day card for the Kaisercraft Challenge No 4.

I used their clock face chippies with the sconce cut from a smaller clock chippie and substituted the clock part of the chippie with a crown bottle cap.
These top the contrasting background papers and the whole thing is "pulled" together with some ornate bronze/gold ribbon I found in my stash along with some cool feathers I found on line. Inside the card is lined with the matching distressed paint patterned paper (all inked around the edges of course.)
The sentiment was stamped using Kaisercraft minis "Happy Fathers Day"

Hope you like this one.

Mojo Monday 359

G'Day

Thought I'd play along with another card sketch challenge blog today with Mojo Monday's No 359 sketch

Here is one of two cards I made using the design...

It has a bit of a bubbly feel about it throughout the different layers and looks nice in the light with the sparkle of the bling and the bottle cap mad hatter scene suits my recipient's personality.

This is a second one I made for a last minute card which actually came out quite nice as well.

Now to choose???...

Well, I'll Be Tickled...

Hi all,

Today I am entering into the colour challenge at Just Us Girls Challenge Blog which is blue green and any neutrals as below.

I was always taught by my mum (God rest her) that "blue and green should never be seen", but this unusual colour combination tickled my fancy so much I thought why not? And after I finished the first one, I liked it so much I made another. I like the neutral window and brad that tie the two rogue colours together and the frames which were cut and mitred from a 12" x 12" patterned paper

Here are the resulting cards...

Pink Pink Pink!

Hey Folks,

Entering the Feeling Sketchy Challenge yet again - #97  (they always give me inspiration)

Here is the sketch
and here is my card
I made this one for my sister who is about to turn 50... woo hoo!

Layers of pink everywhere and just a bit of crystal bling to break it up subtly.

I love the design for this sketch particularly and really enjoyed putting it all together. (I think that's because my sister has such a beautiful soul.) I considered curling a feather around it, but I think it's soft enough as it is. What do you think?
