Wheelie Great!

G'Day...

Well, it's nearly Melbourne Cup and I am already over it, so I was pleased to be doing something today that does not require any equine involvement.

I made a very simple card and would like to enter it into a few challenges.

Now, I know you may be going to say "oh boy, this is not new and exciting" and normally I would totally agree, but it was really a lot of fun to make and that's what counts isn't it?

Haven't been hitting my straps (so to speak) lately after hearing both my brother and uncle both have prostrate cancer. I hope at least this card will cheer one of them up (their birthdays are very soon.)

I would like for this to be entered into the following challenges:

just-add-ink.blogspot.com.au                   Just add a sketch

colourq.blogspot.com                               Black, white, purple, green, tangerine

shoppingourstash.blogspot.com.au           "Rollin"

Please have a happy day and I'll catch you all soon...

Love and hugs

  1. Love it! So great to see a male themed card. I like how you have used the bakers twine and dots out the back of the bike. I know this will brighten the day for either your brother or uncle. Best wishes to them both for their treatment and recovery.

  2. Great colours, and I love the bubbles/dots as an embellishment. Thanks for joining in the fun at Just Add Ink this week; crafting can be a great stress-reliever, and I hope that's the case for you today. x

    1. I appreciate your comments Christine and yes, I do get a lot of stress relief from doing things with my hands and working with colour schemes etc. Just got to get motivated enough to do about 100 Christmas cards lol! Thanks for making me feel better.
